CONTACT FOR (EXPECTANT) FATHERS
Natural, self-determined births for pregnant women – and what are the fathers doing in the meantime?
Supra-regional, German and English-speaking support, accompaniment and counseling for men on all aspects of becoming a father, pregnancy, birth, partnership and couple mediation.
Hello and welcome
Nice to have you here
There is a lack of information for men whose partners are planning to give birth at home or alone, and there is a lack of information on how fathers-to-be can support each other within their father’s worlds.
As a pregnant woman, your partner is in a physically and emotionally special situation and this may be new for you if you are an expectant father, or you know it if you are already a father.
Misunderstandings can quickly arise during your wife’s pregnancy and postpartum period; disrespectful arguments can take place and your partner’s withdrawal can lead to speechlessness.
Sound professional counseling and support can enable you to talk to each other again.
Would you like to deepen trust and appreciation for each other? The aim of this offer for the first weeks and months – before or after the birth – is to return to your love relationship.
The aim is also to strengthen you as a man in your active role as a father, regardless of whether you will be present at the birth of your child or not.
What do I need to know as an expectant father, you ask? Do you actually think that men are the guardians of birth? How does your wife see it? Feel free to write to me.
“Courage to fill the gap”
The perfect father does not exist.
The testimonials about pregnancies and births written by fathers and published on this page can enable you to benefit from the experiences and insights of other men.
On this website, fathers can now share their experiences regarding pregnancy and birth – in the comment function of the blogs. There is no right and no wrong; it’s about appreciative exchange for encouragement and inspiration among each other.
Fathers of older children for whom the birth was some time ago can thus advise and accompany men for whom the birth of the child is imminent.
Do you know men who are fathers? Please ask them to send their reports for publication here.
The aim of this offer is:
Manpower for you as a prospective or already experienced father,
Strengthening for us who are birthkeepers.
Support for the whole of society regarding a self-determined, self-responsible birth, at least for the future.
“We need communities whose members invite, encourage and inspire each other to go beyond themselves”.
Please continue to see if the offer of counseling for fathers and the offer of couple mediation appeals to you or write an email.

There is no substitute for telling stories. It seems to have been lost in the western world to write down stories/reports and to let others share in the experience.
So here is what men have experienced about their wives’ pregnancies and births:
